Brandi Ortiz

Brandi Ortiz, Fiction Editor

Brandi Ortiz has always been an intense reader, allowing the worlds of fact and fiction to envelope her heart and mind. She very much enjoys reading, writing, music and travel. Literature captured her imagination as quickly as song. Through the years, she has dreamt of encouraging and inspiring others through her passions of writing and music. Newspaper will surely help her ascend this goal. In the near future, she seeks to write about the misfortune of others and horrors seen across the world, exposing their darkness to the light. But also the beauty and mystery of the journeys people and herself have faced in life. She sees through the lies and finds the beauty and wonder within finding the truth. Her dream is to explore and inspire the world through her words. Brandi hopes to do exactly that during her last year at SJHHS, and prepare herself and others for the outside world, beyond high school, and its unpredictable twists and turns.
