The Express is the student newspaper of San Juan Hills High School and is published on the world wide web each week and four times per year in print by students in Newspaper.

Its content, which is the responsibility of The Express staff, is not subject to administrative approval before publication. Students are protected in their exercise of press freedom by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and California Education Code 48907.

Unsigned editorials represent the opinion of the newspaper, while signed editorials represent the perspective of the writer.

The Express welcomes letters to the editor and guest commentaries on issues relevant to the San Juan Hills High School community. Submit letters to “[email protected]

Letters must be signed, although anonymity can be granted on a case-by-case basis. The editorial board reviews letters to the editor, advertising and guest commentaries and reserves the right to refuse material. Reasons can include length, clarity, libel, obscenity, material disruption of the educational process at San Juan Hills High School or violation of copyright laws.
