About

The Express is the online student newspaper and voice of San Juan Hills High School, with publications out every two weeks. Our staff exercises their rights to freedom of speech and press as they share the stories of their community and share their perspective on current events, intending to encourage media literacy in our student body and to foster a deeper understanding of the world.

Its content, which is the responsibility of The Express staff, is not subject to administrative approval before publication. Students are protected in their exercise of press freedom by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and California Education Code 48907.

Unsigned editorials represent the opinion of the newspaper, while signed editorials represent the perspective of the writer.
