The Express

2020 had barely begun when students and teachers were pulled from their normal routines and
plunged into an era of nearly constant uncertainty. Routines changed, school changed, and our lives changed
as the Covid-19 global pandemic altered lives and ended others. Nearly 300,000 Americans are now dead. The
stories in the following pages chronicle how Covid-19 has impacted us and how people are reacting to the pandemic, online learning, and a future that promises some relief.
