Mr. Kaiser is currently in his 21st year as a media adviser in CUSD and San Juan Hills High School's 2019 Teacher of the Year. He also teaches world history to sophomores and AP government to seniors. His passions include carpentry, photography, fire lookout work, hiking, surfing, fishing and being with his family when he's not working with student journalists on The Express. This year, the staff updated its website, improved The Express app, and attend the Journalism Education Association's National Spring Convention in Anaheim, where five students were recognized for excellence in journalistic writing.
