Mylan West is a junior at San Juan Hills High School starting her first year on The Express staff. She’s excited to contribute to the newspaper through writing. Mylan enjoys hanging out with friends and running in her free time. After high school, Mylan envisions attending a four-year university where she would like to pursue a career in journalism.

During lunchtime, campus supervisor Enrique makes rounds in the lower quad with a trash can to reduce the amount of trash that students leave at the tables at the end of the lunch period. “Tell everyone to stop leaving trash everywhere!” said Enrique. Supervisors and custodial staff on campus work hard to keep the campus clean, but students must play their part as well.
