Chetana Piravi, Editor-in-Chief

This is Chetana’s third year on The Express and she is thrilled to be Editor-in-Chief. She loves to write all kinds of stories, but her favorites include news and feature stories. She loves being a part of The Express because she thinks it is important to bring news that matters to the students of San Juan Hills. After graduation, she hopes to major in business technology at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. Outside of school, she is the captain of her her high school robotics team, Code Orange, and plays the drums. In her free time, she loves to go to the beach with her friends and spend time with her family.

LOUD AND PROUD: Gabrielle Heckler (11) and Madison Wyatt (10) read the morning announcements into a phone that allows their words to be projected throughout the entire campus. Their distinguishable, peppy voices light up classrooms every morning as students become informed of school news. A tedious daily routine is given a compelling twist as Heckler and Wyatt find new ways to make listening to the morning announcements an entertaining experience for students.
