Project Pie Changes Pizza

“’Better food, better vibe, better design, better flow, better experience in every way!” is how James Markham describes the restaurant he founded, Project Pie.

Project Pie is a fast, casual pizza restaurant where one can build their own pizza, similar to Subway and Chipotle.

“From the moment you order your food, to the moment you receive your food, it is only a seven minute process” says Leehza Caragay, general manager.

Markham founded Project Pie in 2012 after launching MOD Pizza and Pie-Ology. Since then, he has sold those two companies and is focusing on spreading the brand of Project Pie.

Ladera Ranch has restaurants of all kind- but mainly fast food. From sushi to Mcdonald’s, there are a lot of options. However, there is only one option for pizza- Pizza Hut!

“Ladera really needs a restaurant where I can get some solid pizza. I have to drive all the way to the (Irvine) spectrum to get pizza.” says Ladera Ranch resident Taylor Murawski (11).

Opening a Project Pie in Ladera Ranch is building on the trend of fast, casual dining that the Markham is looking to spread.

Caragay says, “We want our customers to feel like they’re coming home and having pizza with their friends”

In a few weeks, Project Pie will be opening and it will serve as a place for people of all ages to hang out with their friends and eat good pizza.
