Kaiah MacLeod, Staff Writer

Kaiah MacLeod is a Freshman at San Juan Hills and it’s her first year on The Express staff. She is excited to join the team this year. Kaiah enjoys reading books, eating Taiwanese food, and watching movies that she reviewson Letterboxd. She plans on pursuing journalism, women’s studies, and literature at her future university! In the next four years Kaiah wants to join a women’s empowerment club, create her own website, and continue with straight A’s in school.

Conductor Dean McElroy leads San Juan Hills’ Chamber Orchestra through their collective musical performance. Alongside Symphony Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, Intermediate, and more, they played for a full audience in the theater.

This classrooms monitoring system displays the current CO2 levels, rh (relative humidity), ppm (parts per million), and temperature in the space. On the side of the monitor, it has facial symbols to clarify if the space is healthy and safe for its occupants. A green light will turn on next to these symbols to indicate where the classroom’s atmosphere levels are at.
