Maureen Pike is a senior at San Juan Hills High School and this is her second year in The Express. Maureen is excited to contribute to The Express this year as Photo and News Editor. Maureen is a member of the San Juan Hills Girls Varsity Soccer Team and in her free time she likes to go to the beach with her friends. After highschool, Maureen hopes to attend a four-year university where she plans on studying environmental science.

Representing SJHHS at the District Dodgeball Tournament, Dillip Bandhal (12) and Rocco Jensen (12) throw in unison. Their team, “Dillip’n EM,” won the SJHHS Dodgeball Tournament and moved on to the district games.

In celebration of Dance Unity Day, dance teams from Capistrano Unified School District schools came together to dance together. In the San Juan Hills gym, girls from many different schools were able to learn new dances and practice together. Emersyn Fee practices her turns surrounded by fellow dancers.

Meticulously crafting a New York Times inspired senior class poster, Commissioner of Publicity Anjali Mehra (12) prepares for Clash of the Classes. Creating posters inspired by brands that correspond with class colors is a longtime tradition of SJHHS’ annual Clash of the Classes.
