Madelyn Wapner is a junior at San Juan Hills High School, and this is her first year writing for The Express Newspaper. She is the social media editor, and is especially excited to write health-related stories. During the school year, she hopes to advance her skills as a journalist. Outside of school, she enjoys going to the beach with her friends and family, working at the Feed Barn (animal pet supplies/food), and finding ways to help the environment.

The OCTA bus stop located in San Juan Capistrano provides free transportation for students ages 6 to 18 through the “Youth Ride Free” bus pass. Although San Juan Hills students do not have access to a bus stop that takes them to campus, the OC youth pass, found in the guidance office, assists students in their search for free transportation.
