Jaden is a sophomore at San Juan Hills High School. He is very excited to learn more about writing and journalism and hopes to help inform his school about current events. In his free time he enjoys running, playing guitar, and travelling to new places. Unfortunately, Covid has confined Jaden to his house where he now spends his days reading about world news and sleeping way too much.

2020 had barely begun when students and teachers were pulled from their normal routines and plunged into an era of nearly constant uncertainty. Routines changed, school changed, and our lives changed as the Covid-19 global pandemic altered lives and ended others. Nearly 300,000 Americans are now dead. The stories in the following pages chronicle how Covid-19 has impacted us and how people are reacting to the pandemic, online learning, and a future that promises some relief.

Overall network viewership of both 2020 national conventions dropped 28% from 2016, though this does not take into account online streaming, which has grown in popularity over the past 4 years.
