Caoimhin is returning to the Express for the second time. She joined the Express as a creative outlet and to be a part of a welcoming community. This year she plans to write pieces about upcoming events and to bring awareness to different communities and cultures. Caoimhin takes an interest in films and music, wanting to pursue a career as an entertainment lawyer or a filmmaker. After school, she participates at the Boys and Girls Club and goes home to watch TV and play music.

Senior year involves potential burnout and stress for deadlines for college applications and such. English teacher Christy Bak-Boychuk has a spot on her whiteboard for her seniors and the college they’re attending. Presenting a photo of the students wearing their colleges’ merch with their college flag above it. In a way, Bak-Boychuk is promoting their hard work and deviation by having a section in her classroom dedicated to them.

Vanessa Farias (11) uses her advantage of lunch to keep up with her homework and notes. Proving her commitment to academic success. She strives to go to a four-year college after high school and is Vice President of Interact, a program that participates in community service and empowers students' inner leadership abilities thanks to AVID.

Students within the district engage with other students at the Career Fair to represent the Orange County Fire Authority. Students who attended could explore opportunities and be at service. Those in the uniform introduce requirements to joining the program and dedication to dive into firefighting.

Parker Strongin (11) has his back turned doing adjustments to the speakers in the gym, with one of the ASB Commissioners of Tech, Shiloh Skelton (10). This is preparation for school events ASB handles such as pep rallies, and in this case the CAASPP assembly for Juniors.

Lauryn Hill, Doechii, and Cardi B are the only women to win Best Rap Album at the Grammys. Lauryn Hill won her Grammy in 1999 with her hit album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Cardi B won her Grammy in 2019 for Invasion of Privacy. Now this year Doechii is the third to win with her album Alligator Bites Never Heal.
