Bad to the Bone serves Pit BBQ, slow cooked in wood burning pits over Hickory wood for 12-24 hours.  “Slow Pit” cooking gives the BBQ a wonderful smoky flavor that naturally tenderizes and gives the meat a pinkish color. The smoky and tender flavor has kids begging their parents to go back.

The restaurant is dedicated to offering customers excellent food and service, and believe that their success is a result of a consistent commitment to quality. With their casual family atmosphere and rustic cowboy ambiance, you will not be disappointed.

They have a wide array of menu items to choose from whether it is their famous hickory smoked BBQ, mesquite fired steaks, or fresh fish, they have something for everyone to enjoy.

Bad to the Bone BBQ serves USDA Choice Beef and prime that is naturally aged and hand cut to our strict specifications for maximum tenderness and flavor.

When you walk into the restaurant, the first thing that you will do is order at the counter. You pay for everything before you are served, and the cashiers are very nice. After taking a number, you choose a western, picnic-style, table to sit at. Very quickly though, you are served, as the meat is already being smoked and prepared before you order your food.

There are a wide range of meats and food available, all relatively cheap when compared to other barbecue establishments. Many of the ⅓ lb burgers are $9-$10. And for only a $1 more, you get a ½ lb. You can choose one of the following meats: Tri-Tip, Pulled Pork, or Brisket for only $14.95. If you would like to eat more than 1 meat you can buy a 2 Meat Combo ($17.95), 3 Meat Combo ($19.95), or a 4 Meat Combo ($21.95).

Among the more expensive, but tastier options include the baby back and St. Louis style Ribs. You can dine on a ½ rack for $19.95, or a full rack for $24.95. They also offer 3 types of Mesquite-Smoked Steaks (1 USDA Prime and 2 USDA Choice), that are under $35. You can even add on a variety of sides from a baked potato to onion rings, for $2-4.

If you are having a party or even just want a crazy amount of BBQ Heaven, they do offer family feasts, catering, and bulk pricing.

Time Spent being Hickory Smoked:
