Music notes fill the theater as Music Man, Harold Hill steps on stage with a plan to deceive the townspeople. However, Hill’s con is perplexed due to his newly developed feelings for librarian Marian Paroo.

The Music Man, Harold Hill played by Liam Herd (12) looks down and tips his hat as the scene ends. The townspeople become increasingly suspicious about Hill’s intentions, causing him to become more and more cautious.

After a turnover, Teagan Acevedo (12) hurriedly makes a breakaway by running the ball from defense to offense in order to clear the ball and make a potential goal scoring opportunity. The Stallions are currently first in league by being 4-0 and 10-5 overall.

Cadence Henss
Cadence Henss, Caption/Copy Editor
Cadence Henss is a junior at San Juan Hills High School, and is coming back for her second year on The Express as the Caption and Copy Editor. She’s looking forward to experimenting with photography, and writing a diverse range of stories this year on The Express. Cadence enjoys taking photos, volunteering for multiple organizations, listening to a wide range of music, and hanging out with friends in her spare time. Cadence is working towards her future career, and wants to major in journalism and minor in english when she leaves for college. 
Sophia Roldan
Sophia Roldan, Boys Sports Editor
Sophia Roldan is a Senior at San Juan Hills High School. This is her second year on The Express Newspaper staff, and she is excited to further connect with her school community and continue to grow as a writer. Sophia is a member of the SJHHS varsity tennis team, NHS, and a few clubs at San Juan Hills. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, listening to music, as well as going to the beach. Sophia hopes to further pursue her academic career at a four-year university in San Diego.
