“It’s good to be back,” said Robert Nietzel, better known on campus as “Bob,” concerning last year, when he took a break from proctoring

Nietzel seemed to vanish in the 2016-2017 school year, but administrators clarified that his absence was because of a surgical procedure.

In a recent interview with The Express, Nietzel explained the reason behind his leave. “They did a reverse shoulder operation, so the knob on the shoulder was totally opposite of what everybody else’s is,” said Bob.

I am happy to be back… I really missed the kids.

And because of this operation, our beloved proctor was stuck at home and was unable to work.

“It’s so boring at home,” he said regarding being unable to work, “your wife has to drive you everywhere you go, and where do they want to go? They want to shop. I hate stores with a passion! But if you want to get out of the house you have to go shopping!”

His strong disdain towards shopping is quite contrary to his feelings for the students at SJHHS. “I am happy to be back… I really missed the kids.” Having worked at SJHHS since 2012, the hardest part for Nietzel was not being able to be on campus interacting with other staff and students.
