Local Lantern Festival Hosted to Combat Asian Hate and Highlight Chinese Culture
March 2, 2021
This lantern festival was hosted to share Chinese culture and raise awareness towards anti-Asian attacks in the community. The Si family has been the latest victim of anti-Asian harassment, where teenagers threw rocks at their house and yelled racist slurs at them. Haijun Si and his wife stand in front of banners saying "Good luck best wishes."
