Not only do I enjoy journalism and current events, I also enjoy skateboarding and music. On the weekends I like to go to the beach with my friends and boogyboard or go offroading in my friends Jeep. But I also like to stay informed in world and local news which is why I was interested in joining the newspaper staff. The newspaper at San Juan is important because the students and staff at San Juan, and also the members of the community, need to be informed with the local news and how it effects them.
