Taylor Rocha, Sports Editor

Taylor Rocha is an 18 year old senior at San Juan Hills High School. This is her inaugural year as a member of The Express staff and she could not be more grateful for this opportunity to share a piece of her mind with the students of San Juan Hills. Taylor’s mission as a writer is to create a platform for the student body to better understand and become connected with their high school, their community, and themselves. Taylor plans on going to a 4-year university to major in Communications and Journalism. Ever since she can remember, Taylor’s dreams have been limitless as she strives to love what she does and do all things with love, create things she is proud of, work hard, and take action towards her desired outcomes. When she’s not slaving over school work or enjoying the company of her wonderful friends, you can find her whipping up a delicious treat, singing her favorite songs on the top of her lungs, running on the beach, or watching another episode of Gossip Girl. Taylor is a sports enthusiast and she enjoys watching Giants baseball games and 49ers football games with her supportive family; however, Taylor is also extremely passionate about fashion and beauty. Writing gives her the opportunity to reflect upon both of these entities. Taylor would like to thank everyone who takes the time to read her articles and appreciates the unwavering support from her family, friends, and teachers. Cheers to constantly learning new things, trying, failing, dreaming big, enjoying the small stuff, and embracing imperfection.
