Game On: Sports Seasons Begin at San Juan Hills

An update about our school’s athletic programs.

With the return to campus this fall, students and athletes eagerly anticipate their favorite sports kicking off their seasons. Here is everything you need to know regarding San Juan Hills’ athletic programs.

Football: Football season is in full swing. Following the homecoming game, fans can look forward to three more league games. The last home game will be on October 22nd against Mission Viejo High School. To finish off the season, the team goes head to head with rival, Tesoro High School, on October 29th in their home field. 

Girls Volleyball: Season is coming to a close for Girls Volleyball after playing eleven games, with only one league game left. Fans can show their support for the team October 13th at 5:45 in the gym

Boys Water Polo: Boys Water Polo is midway through their season with five games remaining. Two games will be home, so be sure to show your support for the team October 19th as they play against Mission Viejo and October 25th against Aliso Niguel, both in the Wetlands.

Girls Golf: Girls Golf has one league game left on October 14th against Tesoro High School. After a great season, the team will be heading to the South Coast League Finals October 18th and 19th at the Western Hills Country Club. 

Girls Tennis: The CIF defending champions have three league games left of their season. Luckily for supporters, all three games will be here at San Juan Hills. Fans can anticipate exciting upcoming games on October 14th,19th, and 21st. Playoffs begin October 26th and details are to be determined.

Track & Field: Track & Field season begins on February 19th. The details of the teams’ first few events are to be determined. The first confirmed event, the Trophy Invitational at Laguna Beach High School, will be taking place on March 19th. The record-breaking program is set to compete in CIF, beginning on May 7th. 

The following sports have yet to release schedules for upcoming seasons: Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Boys Volleyball, Lacrosse, Girls Water Polo, Basketball, Boys Golf, Boys Tennis.
