Country Music Proves to be Underated

“All country artists do is talk about their dogs, while sitting on a porch in the middle of a field” This is a common stereotype of country music. Country music is written about real people, real scenarios- real life. It’s a genre of music that tells a story, one lyric at a time.

People can easily relate to what the artist is conveying in any country song, because of how the songs are the written. Many country artist are from the South, so they talk and sing slow. Unlike rap songs, where artists simply spit out lyrics or rapping you and fully understand the lyrics sang by a country artist.

There is a big difference from old country and new country today. George Strait and Alan Jackson are prime examples of old country, and Luke Bryan or Sam Hunt you most likely have recently fallen for country music.

Rap artists constantly put down others in their music. It has a lot to do with illegal things, erotic content including da sluts, money, and having top of the line gold jewelry. Country artist like to celebrate the bad things through good times.

If the song is about a girl, the song will talk about her as a person, not as an object, unlike rap songs. Dirt, Trucks, and tearing up a open field is how country folk let out their agression, not by the violent slang as a rap artist would express.

Many country artists make it a priority at festivals or concerts to send appreciation to the military and wear the america to show how grateful we as a community in country music, cherish freedom on a daily basis
