High school students can be heroes for heroes.

One of the many amazing clubs run by students here at San Juan Hills High School is Teens 4 Troops. According to Ryan Brown (11), “we volunteer to help our troops and veterans and try to improve their lives if we can.” It’s an opportunity to help give back to the soldiers and improve their lives in anyway possible.

Meeting every other Monday, they discuss different ways to help the troop and fundraise in many numerous ways. Some of the many ways they fundraise is donate gifts, send out cards to the soldiers, and volunteer at Camp Pendleton.

Although they only have 7 members, they are accepting new members. This club is fantastic to consider joining because they give to the soldiers who protect us and our country and the least we can do is give back in any way we can. If you want to join just listen to the announcements and go to the meetings every other Monday, simple as that!

Coming soon, a big surprise is in store for this club. Many people in this club would suggest joining, so next meeting, hustle your butt down to room E16 for the next meeting! They are ready to welcome you.
