Irvine Car Crash Kills 5, Injures 1
Some days bring strength, some courage, and some tragedy. The devastating things in life open our eyes very quickly, we speculate, we judge.
The five students’ lives that were lost after a night at Knott’s Scary Farm could be called nothing other than a tragedy
They were all young and having a great time, surely up until the moment it was lost. Young drivers are often oblivious to the damage that they may cause to themselves and others, by the choices that they make behind the wheel.
As high school students, kids are inexperienced and immature about the “what if’s” of driving.
The situation we are experiencing now tugs at our hearts. It shows us the harsh reality of the choices we make for ourselves.
Uncontrollable sadness rests in the eyes of the friends and families, with thoughts of what they could have done to change what had happened.
Even though this is a huge topic right now, this tragedy will not stop teens from creating dangerous situations for themselves by speeding, texting, driving friends, or listening to loud music. These are all things that are not worth risking a life for.
Life is precious and fragile and deserves the utmost protection.
