Talent at SJHHS
The Orange County School of Arts (OSCA) provides a well rounded, creative, and challenging environment for students. They offer great opportunities for students to pursue their talents in the arts.
“I learned a lot of new things and got a lot of good opportunities,” said Collin Leary (11) who attended OSCA for almost two years.
OSCA educates students between middle school and high school. They train excellence with talents in performing, visual arts, literary arts, and the culinary arts.
“I want to join the medical field, I feel like somebody else could have done it,” said Haley Petrie (12), talking about why she left OSCA. Petrie felt that since she wanted to put herself more into the medical field somebody else could have the chance to take her place as a dancer.
The mental strength you need to have to deal with the competition at OSCA is very overwhelming. It requires complete dedication to the goals they have set in their lives.
From all the talented students who attend San Juan Hills, a few extra extraordinary students have transferred from OSCA.
Students that used to go to OSCA are still trying to pursue their talents at SJHHS. Our school provides unbelievable musical theater, graphic design, and commercial music programs.
You don’t have to be a musical genius to join our music theater classes. The SJHHS musical theater program maintains a great learning experience for all of the beginners in their classes.
