Epic Stories Interpreted Through Dance
An encore performance of “Dancing Through the Pages,” a student choreographed dance show, raised funds to benefit Team Niko, cancer research, and Children’s Hospital of Orange County. The performers interpreted scenes from books, both new and old in sold-out shows.
17 groups in all performed interpretations from books like, The Fault in Our Stars, The Jungle Book, My Sister’s Keeper, Divergent, Water for Elephants, The Lucky One, The Great Gatsby and many more.
This years Winter Formal is Gatsby themed.
The dancers said, “Our dance is inspired by the 1920’s: women who no longer conformed to society became ‘flappers’ with their main priority to rage hard.”
